Designing Balloon Decorations for your DMV Event: Color
Not sure how to choose the right color palette to make your event memorable? Here are three tips to make it easy to plan your balloon decor palette!
1. LEAN ON YOUR BRAND COLORS
Planning balloon decorations for a corporate or university event? We can combine your brand or university colors in unusual ways (see the balloon arch and wrapped balloon column for University of Maryland Football events, below!), inspiring people to take and post photos and ensuring your event is memorable and fun. See our balloon catalogs for more examples of balloon arches, balloon columns, balloon walls organic balloon installations and other balloon decor.
2. CHOOSE A FAVORITE COLOR FAMILY
Picking multiple hues within one color family to create an ombre palette is an easy way to create a beautiful color scheme. Create a balloon wall in blues, for example, by picking using dark blue, robins egg blue and pale blue, or balloon centerpieces in pinks by pairing wild berry, rose and pink from our color chart, below. Add a luxe accent color, like gold or silver, for extra pop!
3. USE COLOR OPPOSITES FOR VISUAL POP
Don't have brand colors or a favorite color family? Look to the color wheel for inspiration! Colors opposite each other on the color wheel are perfect partners. Think red and green, purple and yellow, or blue and orange.
