Balloon Zoom is a local and green woman-owned company. Our balloons are made from latex sustainably harvested from rubber trees, not plastic.  And because we care about the environment, Balloon Zoom is a member of the Pro Environment Balloon Alliance, an international organization dedicated to safe balloon practices.  We do not support balloon releases, we use air-filled balloons in 99 percent of our balloon decor, we recycle and reuse our frames wherever possible, and we're committed to sending our latex and mylar balloons to a speciality recycling facility. 

Our used latex balloons are  into a finer powder used to make athletic mats, padding and other rubber-based products.  Our used mylar balloons are recycled in the same manner as candy wrappers.  They're extruded, pelletized and turned into plastic products.  Balloon Zoom's customers have the option to pay a voluntary recycling fee that covers  cost of recycling.
